When Tony Flackett (bass); Matt Kaden (guitar) and Allan Heifetz (drums) went off to college (Bard '89-92) to major in film-making, the real focus became to strengthen the SOUNDS. Benefiting from upstate New York's country feel, Soothing Sounds For Baby rehearsed uninterrupted for days on end. The result of which transformed their collective post-punk groove into the hottest sound on campus. A small following soon emerged, which only added fuel to their creative fires.
